MINE MAINTENANCE PLANNER
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Mechanical Engineer or EIT designation with commensurate experience
SKILLS
- At least 3 years’ experience performing maintenance planning and meeting operational budget restrictions
- Specific expertise in management of tailings ponds
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Mine Maintenance Planner is accountable for scheduling all mine maintenance activities as well as managing budgets and ensuring fleet availability. Your duties will include cataloging and identifying specifications for equipment. Your technical skills extend to identifying opportunities to improve processes and operations across the mine site as it relates to maintenance and equipment availability.

SENIOR GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree is Mining Engineering, (Master’s preferred)
SKILLS
- At least 7 years’ experience in rock mechanics and preparing feasibility studies for underground mining operations
- Advanced modeling and simulation skills including 2D and 3D geomechanics modeling and and excavation design
- Skilled in performing short and long term mine design evaluations
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Geotechnical Engineer will bring a minimum of 7 years’ experience in the underground mine environment with specific expertise in the evaluation of mining zones including feasibility studies and modeling to assess slope sequencing, open mine wall stability. Your modeling and design evaluation skills are complimented by experience preparing reports for mine closure activities, as well as field mapping and data analysis.

CHIEF MINING ENGINEER
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Mining Engineering
SKILLS
- At least 15 years open pit and underground mining experience
- Ability to develop mine plans, tailings and storage design and construction management
- Budgeting and equipment studies and requirements as well as pit optimization
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Chief Mining Engineer will be accountable for directing a team of planning engineers through short term and Life of Mine activities including mine planning, tailings pond design and storage facilities. Supervising construction of planned facilities, the Chief Mining Engineer will have responsibility for budgeting, reconciliation metals targets and pit optimization.

HEALTH AND SAFETY SUPERINTENDENT
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science or a Related Field
- Eligible for CRSP designation
SKILLS
- At least 20 years’ experience in Health and Safety programming
- Demonstrated capability to manage Environmental Management System in compliance with ISO 14001 standards; able to manage HSE tracking systems
- Ability to manage and influence Staff at all levels of the organization to ensure continued improvement of comprehensive Health and Safety programs throughout the mine environment
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Health and Safety Superintendent will bring considerable experience leading Health and Safety programs and demonstrated success establishing and maintaining incident and injury free workplaces. Your commitment to continuous improvement is proven through dedicated maintenance and regulatory compliance with HSE. The Health and Safety Superintendent will utilize their exceptional communications and negotiations skills to ensure collaboration with Mine Management and staff to encourage buy-in and participation in all H&S initiatives.

MINE SUPERINTENDENT
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 20 years’ experience in an underground mining environment
SKILLS
- Familiarity with all aspects of underground mine operations including strategic management, risk management, mine planning, design and scheduling
- Excellent communications and negotiations skills to successfully engage in Collective \Bargaining sessions
- Ability to build winning teams and lead a large staff of manager and personnel
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Mine Superintendent brings a minimum of 20 years’ progressively responsible experience in large underground mine sites. The incumbent will be accountable for all aspects of planning and operations at the mine site with a focus on strategic planning, change management as well as planning, design and scheduling responsibilities. Your familiarity with H&S planning, compliance management and team building/leadership skills allow you to meet or exceed metals targets and maintain a positive mine site environment.
