Excellent written and oral communication skills will be required, as the Intermediate Cost and Scheduling Engineer will be required to present information to technical and business stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

• Chemical Engineering Degree
• Field Support and Operations experience is an asset

• 2^nd Class Power Certificate

• Experience using steam driven oil recovery in heavy oil facilities as well as gas collection systems
• Familiarity with Steam Turbines, Power Boilers and automation tools including Honeywell DCS, and JD Edwards

The Plant Operator will be accountable for facility Start up and Shut down, as well as monitoring and optimizing processes in a steam recovery facility. In addition to  operational tasks, the Plant Operator will schedule work on equipment including pump change outs and will act as delegate shift engineer as required.
